The Madras House

Music by Jay Turvey and Paul Sportelli

Considered one of Harley Granville-Barkers great plays, this 19th century work set in a fashion house in London is a study of sexual and moral politics. In keeping with director Neil Munro's revisionist approach to the work the music for the play is written in both Edwardian and contemporary style. Presented at the Shaw Festival in 1999.
